So my friend Lindsey started a "Memory Lane Mondays" and asked people to write a memory each monday!! I thought that was a great idea! Her memory this week was on getting caught in high school..ya ask my parents I got caught on everything!! So here is my memory!!

So I was 16 and just got my driver's license and my car. I thought I was so cool, so the rule was i could only drive to school and home, no one but me or my sister ashley in the car. So what do I do on the first day i get to drive, ya i ditch my first class to go to breakfast with my friend Bre!! Smart.

So guess who left some important papers in the trunk of my car and came to school to get them out, ya my dad.
So my dad waited in the school parking lot until little miss "thinks she's cool" drives in and parks. K so I'm brushing my hair and laughing with Bre when there is a tap at my window, CRAP!! My friend Bre jets out of the car and goes to class...
meanwhile my dad opens my door and gives me "that" look, holds his hand out and says "It would be a good idea for you to give me the keys and go to class" CRAP AGAIN!! Now for those of you that know my dad, you know "that" look! Growing up all my dad had to do was give that look and we just knew"it was over!" haha Love you dad!!!
Ok So I hand him my keys and go to class. I did NOT want to go home that night and i do believe i had "really late" cheer practice that night.
I'm pretty sure i was grounded and also unable to drive for a while.
Did I ever try to do something dumb again...no, me, never!!

Dear Future Caden- I have the same powers my parents have so don't try anything dumb because you will be caught!!!
